I’m going to tell
you about my language learning history. I learned various languages from a lot
of opportunities.
First of all, I’m
going to tell you when I was in childhood. When I was in early years, I learned
mother tongue from my parents. I heard from them I was very late that speaking
the tongue. When I was in the nursery years, I learned from my teachers and
friends. I didn’t speak so much because I was very reserved. But I just rattled
on my family and relatives. I often cut the nursery school and I went to the house
of my grand parents. So, I just rattled on my grand parents and uncle and aunt
and cousin. I learned Japanese from my family and relatives.
When I was in the
elementary school, I learned fundamental Japanese. For example, hiragana,
katakana , Chinese characters and calligraphy. And I learned Roman letters and
took communication with on ALT teacher. In the elementary school, I took test
of Chinese characters called “Chinese characters meet” every year. Therefore I
cultivated my powers of Chinese characters.
When I was in the
junior high school, I learned Japanese more detail. I learned modern Japanese and
classic Japanese. And sometimes I learned calligraphy. And I learned reading,
writing and communication in English. Suddenly, study of junior high school got
difficult. Especially, I was remembered the textbook of English as memory work.
But it was pleasant and worth doing for me. In addition, when I took the first
test, I learned English from my sister. If I didn’t learned English from her, I
couldn’t like English. Consequently, I began to like it. My strongest school
subjects were English and sociology in my junior school days.
When I was in my
high school, study was by far more difficult than junior high school.
Especially, classic Japanese began to more difficult. When I was in the first
grade, I hate it and Chinese classics. I took small tests of them in a class
every day and sometimes studied after school as I didn’t passed them. And I
learned reading, writing, speaking and listening in English. I was very weak in
listening. I couldn’t follow English what a person says. I remembered
vocabulary as hard as I could. Consequently, I could begin to read long
sentences in practice exams.
And now I am in
the university. I’m learning reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar
in English. It’s very hard and difficult for me. And there are a lot of
homeworks. When I was in the first grade, I learned writing and pronounciation
in German. German was very hard for me. But now I feel that English is more
difficult than German. I have been weaken of listening. I can’t follow English
what a person says. But I like speaking.
Lastly, I want to
like English more. I don’t have a plan that study abroad. First of all, I want
to get power of listening and get better points of TOEIC. And I would like to
work a job that is connected with English.
